In July, we announced a preview of new Skype for Business voice and meetings capabilities in Office 365. More than 4,000 companies are currently previewing the new services, with usage growing at an average of 20 percent every week. Today we’re excited to announce that we are expanding the preview to provide support for additional countries, as well as adding several new features.

Last year, we introduced a new cross-suite service for Office 365 commercial customers called Office 365 Groups that allows individuals to easily create public or private groups. Along with today’s launch of Office 2016, we’re also introducing the availability of Office 365 Groups in Outlook 2016, and a new mobile app called Outlook Groups, to help you get work done with others while at your desk or on the go.

In September 2012, we announced availability of the Office Web Apps Server as a standalone on-premises server providing browser-based versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote. In our journey to enable rich viewing and editing experiences through Office in the browser, we’re making available Office Online Server Preview (OOS)—the evolution of Office Web Apps.

Today Apple announced the iPad Pro, iOS 9 and WatchOS 2. We’ve developed a number of new features for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook and Translator to take advantage of these enhancements.
