The new updates to the OneNote Class Notebook API allow for top requested scenarios such as Teacher Only section groups, Collaboration Space lockdown, permissioned groups within the Collaboration Space and Content distribution APIs. One of the most valuable aspects of OneNote for students with disabilities is the increased ease with which teachers can differentiate in both general and special education classroom settings. With add-on tools such as the new OneNote Class Notebook add-in, teachers are able to distribute pages to students’ OneNote Notebooks. This includes the ability to provide specially designed assignments based on particular students’ needs.
OneNote transforms the way we work as a staff even before our school has opened. OneNote made it possible for us to collaborate, create Scheme of Work documents and collect resources. More importantly, it allowed for a change in mindset, a change in approach, with greater collaboration and communication at the center, which we believe will improve the quality of teaching and learning in the future.
