During the events, we will show you the new Project and how it enables your organization to quickly start projects, prioritize project portfolio investments, and deliver results with the intended business value. It’s the flexible online solution for project portfolio management (PPM) and everyday work–delivered through Office 365. The new Project is also available for installation on-premises. In this session you will see a live demonstration of the powerful new features of Project 2013 desktop and server. You will also have an opportunity to learn the differences between the desktop, server and online Project solutions.

We will then look at real world use and case studies and show the many ways the Microsoft PPM solution can be used to plan and manage your most critical assets–resources. We will provide examples to walk you through different challenges organizations faced and how they addressed them with the PPM solution.

We will conclude by looking at creating executive dashboards and enterprise Project and portfolio reports. In this final session, we will cover the Project Server reporting capabilities and the Project Server 2013 reporting database (RDB) schema. You will learn the building blocks for creating world-class executive dashboards with leading indicators including project health, issues, risks, costs, and resources. We will also discuss the differences between the reporting databases and toolsets available for Project Server 2013 on-premises vs. Project Online (Office 365).
