Energy retailer AGL Energy Limited simplifies email support and saves with Office 365

AGL logoAGL Energy Limited (AGL), one of Australia’s largest energy retailers, recently announced that it has moved to Office 365 for a single platform that brings together its operations and employees.

The company, which has over 3.6 million residential and business customers, needed a solution that provided business-critical mobile connectivity and improved collaboration for its 3,000+ employees. With Office 365, AGL’s employees are more productive when on the go while the company is able to save money, control costs and simplify email support.

In a June 2012 survey conducted by AGL, it discovered its employees experienced an IT satisfaction rating of 82 percent, up from 40 percent a year ago, with Office 365 being a key factor in the rating increase.
