Microsoft Project welcomes you to SharePoint Conference 2012 #SPC12

We’re excited to show you the new Project at the SharePoint Conference (SPC) this week in Vegas. If you’re not familiar with the SharePoint Conference, you can find more information here. If you’re attending, then plan your schedule with our 13 Project sessions in mind—the Project team is delivering overviews on the new Project which you won’t want to miss!

For the first time, we’re delivering Project in the cloud with end-to-end project and portfolio management (PPM) delivered through Office 365. We’ve made it easier for individuals, teams and organizations to quickly start projects, prioritize project portfolio investments and deliver results with the intended business value.

The new Project takes advantage of the new SharePoint in innovates ways:

  • Now you can see what teams are working on in Project—even when people are managing everyday work or ad hoc projects in SharePoint.
  • Promote a SharePoint task list to an Enterprise Project to improve governance and control.
  • Help individuals stay organized from one location to see and act on all their tasks in SharePoint.
  • Provide a project site for people to share project summaries, timelines, and find product documents or project email in a site mailbox, so important information reaches everyone and they can get work done.

Can’t wait to attend our sessions and learn more? Ready to plan your agenda at SPC? You can find the full agenda here so start scheduling!

Want to try the new Project now? Join thousands of others who’ve already tried the new Project! You can find Project Professional 2013 or Project Online Preview here.
