“I just tried migrating my first user from OneDrive for Business to the next gen sync. Some questions:
1) I followed the instructions, renaming the old sync folder and making a new one, but after the new client downloaded all the files (about 40GB worth) it stalled out and says "Processing Changes" when hovering over the OneDrive icon. Clicking it gives no additional information. Closings and reopening the app, unsyncing and resyncing, and rebooting the computer all don't fix the "Processing Changes" message. Any ideas?
2) My current image for new computers has Windows 10 1511 build, and Office 2016 already installed. Does that include the new sync app, or do I still need to deploy the OneDrive.exe on each of them?
3) Is there any way to uninstall the older OneDrive for Business Sync app without affecting the rest of the office installation? No one uses it to sync SharePoint sites, so I'd rather remove it after migration so that people aren't confused by the multiple icons in the notification bar.
4) After migration, is it safe to completely delete the C:\Users\ArmenCasarjian\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\OfficeFileCache directory?
Thank you for all the help.”
