Cyrielle Simeone (@cyriellesimeone) is a product marketing manager on the SharePoint marketing team focused on user adoption.

Today, we’re pleased to announce the availability of, a new site geared towards driving end-user adoption.

SharePoint is all about helping people get things done better together. This new site is a great place to go for end users to discover SharePoint and learn what’s in it for them. The site features various business scenarios, along with a set of how-to videos and guides to help people get started. All content is downloadable and sharable, so that you can easily spread the word and start changing how people work together!

The site also features a use case catalog and an adoption kit with adoption best-practices, also available for download below:

This is our first step, and we will continue adding and updating our content as our service evolves. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter for the latest updates.

Please visit today, and let us know what you think. Thank you!

  1. Very welcome initiative; useful to demonstrate to business people (often still SharePoint ignorant / unaware) the capabilities for business usage of SharePoint [as product].

Note: the site has difficulties starting up on iPad / Safari, although ultimately it shows up (but impatient business will be gone). Perhaps due usage of Silverlight?

Hi and thank you for your feedback! We are working on it :). Thank you

  2. Wow! This is just in time. We are launching our new site Aug 1!

  3. I was so excited to find this online! My clients have been clammoring for a good place to review SharePoint 2013’s new offerings. Unfortunately, I’ve spent years talking them into using the Internet Explorer web browser when in SharePoint. Too bad the website doesn’t load in IE10! arrrgggghhhh!!!

Hi Cynthia, I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The site runs in IE8, IE9, IE10, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. However sometimes the loading time can be a bit long: it’s temporary as we have identified the issue and we are working on it. Thank you for your patience and please stay tuned!

You’re missing the education industry. The academic world doesn’t understand what a "Marketing team" is, or what an "R&D division" is. These examples don’t resonate with them.

What about examples of SharePoint for Teachers, … for Students. … for Classes.

Great stuff, thank you. Please add the IT video as soon as possible. IT department goodwill is critical to any SharePoint implementation. An easy to roll SharePoint helpdesk solution will go a long way towards this…

Great and Quality stuff. Very colorful 🙂 Watched couple of videos.
