There is lots of excitement this week surrounding Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference 2013. Throughout the remainder of the conference, we’ll be posting stories from our partners who’ve successfully grown their business while helping more customers migrate to Office 365.

As the old adage states, change is a constant. As businesses grow and customers’ needs evolve, there are many factors companies must consider when thinking about moving to the cloud. Helping our customers realize the true value of the cloud is what drives CDW to not only sustain, but exceed its consumers’ and providers’ needs. As a Solutions Manager, I am always looking for ways to improve what we do and Office 365 is helping our business grow rapidly.
Initially we saw a lot of angst from customers about moving to the cloud – what will happen to their data? Will it be secure? Will it affect my day to day work? We took this as an opportunity to engage with them and have an open dialogue about what the cloud and Office 365 will do for their business. With Office 365, they’ll have the latest and most complete set of fully featured Office tools with the same look and feel backed by Microsoft. As we move customers to the platform, we can efficiently guide them through the transition because we ourselves use the service. Office 365 has allowed our customers to take the reins on their business, and in turn, has allowed us to steer our customers in a better direction, saving them the time and money that was once dedicated to maintaining servers in-house.
As a Microsoft partner, we offer support from start to finish. The windy road of change may be constant, but with Office 365, we’re excited about the opportunity to grow and expand our business while helping our customers become more productive and confident at every turn.
