The New Microsoft Project reaches RTM!

That’s right, today the Project engineering team signed off on the Release to Manufacturing (RTM) build of the new Project. We wanted to share this very exciting news with you before we went off to celebrate.

We are very excited about the new version of Project. For the first time, Project offers flexible online and on-premises solutions for project portfolio management (PPM) and everyday work, enabling organizations to effectively execute and achieve strategic priorities.

Volume Licensing customers with Software Assurance will be able to download Project Professional 2013, Project Standard 2013 and Project Server 2013 through the Volume Licensing Service Center by mid-November. These products will be available on the Volume Licensing price list on December 1.

Please stay tuned for more specifics on general availability dates and other Project launch news. In the meantime, if you’d like to give the pre-release version a try, you can visit:

Thanks to everyone who has tested the early releases and given us feedback. We are grateful for your support.
