About a month ago I wrote about the Technical Preview on Windows Live. Since then we’ve seen a lot of interest in Office Web Apps and received numerous requests from people wanting to try them out. To make this possible, we are opening up the Technical Preview and inviting more people to try out the Office Web Apps.

The features in this expanded Technical Preview are the same as the initial preview; however, during the preview (and beyond) you can expect to see new functionality added over time. Thanks for helping us make Office Web Apps even better!

Might just be me, but the link for the Technical Preview doesn't work.
I'm getting an error taht states "That item seems to be missing" on the skydrive site.
@Sean: same here, I was hoping to try out the editing features and the link seems dead.

If you're already signed up for the tech preview, you'll get that error message. You'll also get an error message if you're not in the US or Japan.

Im outside US & JP, but was able to get in.
The only problem that i have is I cant Open a new Word Document.
Not currently in the tech preview and located in Australia. Am receiving the following message:
"That item seems to be missing
Someone may have deleted or moved the item, or you may not have permission to view it. If you have questions about this item, contact the person who created it."
Can you have the word app where i can do editing in it so that you can get more input from you users so that it can be inproved so that it can do all what we would like it to do.
I am quite iliterate about the PC and do not know what a URL is e-mail this to me. I would like to sign up for Technical Preview. Please respond with help. jonjaymcc@msn.com

Please don't display apps that are not available yet, e.g., OneNote, or gray them out so that we don't waste our time trying to do something that is impossible.
Why don't you say in the blog that it doesn't work in UK?
