Darrell - you can insert time in Excel with Ctrl + Shift + ; [semi-colon] and date with Ctrl + ;

Also, Windows + [arrow] to snap is a very cool find (thanks, Pauline!) Especially when using a laptop touchpad instead of a mouse.

Is there a shortcut for imputing the current time in a cell...ie 5:55 pm. I sure would like it if there was >)

very cute, I've used Control Z my whole life and never knew about Control Y until reading this! My new favorite shortcut key is the Windows button + arrow key to snap.
