"The cloud" and related terms seem to be the new hotness these days. I wasn't sure what the terms meant, so I read some stuff online. Big mistake. It took some time to figure out, but near as I can tell, here are what the terms mean…Today’s Office comic was inspired by an email from my manager (thanks, Louis!).Note: the terms described above are real terms. If you’re curious about what they really mean, you can read more about these cloud deployment models on Wikipedia.Semi-random tip: "The cloud" isn't all hype. My favorite thing to do in the cloud is use the Office Web Apps to view and edit Office documents from my browser.

Pinch me please...
March 25th 2011 (I know this comment is WAAAAAAAY late, sue me..). On a Microsoft official website (its hard to find out by looking up whois on the domain alone; the IP's reveal as much though)... errrr... MS official? Please don't sue me! ;-)) and you're making fun on clouding ?
Man, this is brilliant. In every positive way that is. Meant with respect here. I know you guys picked up too and started Azure. And no offense nor disrespect intended but I still feel the way portrayed here. know a few big companies who would then suddenly "silence" stuff like this, but obviously not you. Kudo's there!
I enjoyed it (yes, late post; just came in, discovered stuff and I feel like posting ;-)).
