First!

Whoa. This new blog is so...shiny. I almost don’t want to take it out for a spin. What if I dent it? My dad would be so mad.

So I’m going to play it safe, go real slow, and just repost my most popular comic of 2009:

The comic was inspired by all the hilarious and thought-provoking charts on Indexed. Thanks, Indexed!

Semi-random tip: Word 2007 makes it easy to add a “DRAFT” watermark to your documents. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Background group, just click Watermark. Now, no one will think your first drafts are the final version. Not even your dad.

  • Here's a less semi-random tip: You can start your own quadrant concept graphic with the Quad Arrow shape in Word and PowerPoint. On the Insert tab, click Shapes. Draw it out the size you want. Then use the little yellow diamonds to make the lines and arrowheads as fat or skinny as you want.

  • Forgot one step:

...On the Insert tab, click Shapes. ***Click the Quad Arrow shape.*** Draw it out ...

  • That's an awseome tip, JeRe. I never knew that shape existed. Thanks!

  • My husband says he going to put a keyboard on his forehead so I can communicate with him. LOL

  • Microsoft Mother, you should tell your husband that a touch pad would be...um...more friendly
