The installation of Outlook Social Connector is different from most downloads. Besides downloading Outlook Social Connector (for Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003; it’s included in Outlook 2010), you must download provider files for each social network you want to connect to. Watch this short video to see how, and see the important links plus an overview of the Outlook Social Connector, below.
Note: To use Facebook in the Outlook Social Connector, you must allow a third party application (which is the default setting). If you have edited these settings in Facebook, you may need to edit them again. On your Facebook home page, click Account, and then click Application Settings.

Thank you very much for great innovation in MSN network, this is a great move in a great direction. However, the sad news is that I was not able to watch the demonstration about how to download the outlook-facebook because the video was block from displaying, reasons not unfolded.

@queenmother, what version of outlook are you using?
I'm having a similar issue. I just upgraded to Outlook 2010 Professional Plus and after downloading and installing the provider file for LinkedIn it tells me that I need to install the OSC, which is already installed. Then it doesn't show up in the list of Social Network Accounts. All I see is My Site.

I am trying to use the social connector with my new copy of Outlook 2010, and I downloaded the FB extension and whenever I enter my username/email and password (and they are correct) it says that they are "invalid." Any ideas?
