How do you "take back" or recall an Outlook email message that you already sent? How do you recall a message and replace it with another one? Go to your Outlook Sent Items folder first, and then recall that message!
As you probably know, to wait 10 or maybe 30 minutes after hitting the Send button simply go to Tools...Options...and uncheck the button that says "Send immediately when connected". It works for me; at least for those times that I've actually hit Send too quickly. :)

I created a rule with the name "Delay 1 min before sending emails".

In Word 2007, set the rule with this description:

Apply this rule after I send the message

defer delivery by 1 minutes

except if assigned to SendNow category

This will delay sending of any email you write by 1 minute, unless you categorize it with the label "SendNow".

Of course, you can change the time delay to be longer or shorter, change the category name and color, and make all sorts of other modifications to the rule.

Hope this helps - it's helped me numerous times! :)
