These are the official rules that govern how the Microsoft "Office Snow or Shine Sweepstakes" will operate. This promotion will be simply referred to as the "Sweepstakes" throughout the rest of these rules. In these rules, "we," "our," and "us" refer to Microsoft Corporation, the sponsor of this Sweepstakes. "You" refers to an eligible entrant.

OVERVIEW

The object of this Sweepstakes is to offer PC users advice on how to remain productive during an snow storm when they might be stuck somewhere away from their office. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, which will be administered via Twitter, each tweet you submit with the designated hashtag #snoductivity will be called an entry.

WHAT ARE THE START AND END DATES?

This Sweepstakes starts at 12:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Saturday, February 4, 2012 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on Friday, March 30, 2012 ("Promotion Period") and consists of eight (8) entry periods ("Entry Period") as outlined below.

CAN I ENTER?

You are eligible to enter this Sweepstakes if you meet the following requirements at time entry:

• You are a legal resident of the 50 United States (including District of Columbia) and are 18 years of age or older; and
• You are registered on http://twitter.com and follow the updates of http://twitter.com/office by subscribing to the account @office as a follower; and
• You are NOT an employee of Microsoft Corporation or an employee of a Microsoft subsidiary; and
• You are NOT involved in any part of the administration and execution of this Sweepstakes; and
• You are NOT an immediate family (parent, sibling, spouse, child) or household member of a Microsoft employee, an employee of a Microsoft subsidiary, or a person involved in any part of the administration and execution of this Sweepstakes.

This Sweepstakes is void outside the geographic area described above and wherever else prohibited by law.

HOW DO I ENTER?

To enter, you must do all of the following:

1. Sign into your Twitter account. If you do not have an account, visit http://twitter.com to create one. Twitter accounts are free.
2. Once logged into your Twitter account, follow the links and instructions to become a follower of @office.
3. From your own account, retweet a tweet from @Office that includes #snowductivity during the "Promotion Period" of the sweepstakes.

By posting this tweet, you will receive one (1) entry into the weekly sweepstakes drawing. Limit one (1) tweet per twitter account per weekly drawing.

We will automatically disqualify:

Winner Selection

Beginning February 10, 2012 and every Friday thereafter through March 30, 2012, we will randomly select weekly winners per the schedule and prize descriptions below.

If you are one of the winners, we will notify you via Twitter direct message. If the notification that we send is returned as undeliverable, or you are otherwise unreachable for any reason, we may award the prize to an alternate winner.

If you are a potential winner, we may require you to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release and a W-9 tax form or W-8 BEN tax form within 10 days of notification. If you are a potential winner and you are 18 or older, but are considered a minor in your place of legal residence, we may require your parent or legal guardian to sign all required forms on your behalf. If you do not complete the required forms as instructed and/or return the required forms within the time period listed on the winner notification message, we may disqualify you and select a runner-up.

If you are confirmed as a winner of the Sweepstakes:
