Today, the new Windows Phone 7 goes on sale. The AT&T phones start selling today with T-Mobile joining the party later this month. (See the phones available; Verizon and Sprint phones will be available in 2011). There's a lot of buzz with the phones and some nifty commercials (see below).

If you previously owned a Windows phone, you’ll notice that the Office programs on the new phone (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) look different now. The main reason for this change is that the mobile applications are now optimized for the phone.
