At the recent MVP Summit, David Parker describes how he uses Visio diagrams to help clients create sales proposals faster.
David created a specialized Visio rack diagram template, with a library of shapes, which corresponds to the product catalog offered by his clients. Each shape in the diagram template includes the correct, corresponding product code for each piece of equipment -- creating a ready-made sales order!
The clients were so excited about the template that they now offer it on their site for their customers to peruse their products.
David Parker owns and operates bVisual, ltd (www.bvisual.net), a business that is regarded as the European center of excellence for Visio development and consultancy. He is also a Visio MVP (Most Valuable Professional).
This year's global MVP Summit brought Most Valuable Professionals from all over the world to Microsoft's Redmond campus. This series of MVP video blog posts features a few of those MVPs and their unique views about the upcoming Office 2010 release.
