Customers rave about new photo and video tools in Office 2010

Customers who have tried the free download of Office 2010 Beta have been raving about the new visual tools including video in PowerPoint and improved photo editing features in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. But don't take our word for it:

  • "I love the video and photo editing options in PowerPoint 2010. I am able to create engaging slide show presentations that are unique and I can get my point across much more clearly."- Stacy Clark, craft blogger & full-time mom

With PowerPoint 2010, you can add video as simply as you add pictures. Plus you can edit in the program. Here's a quick demonstration of video in PowerPoint recorded on the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show:

  • "My favorite feature is the Photo Editing. Adjusting photos WITHIN PowerPoint instead of taking a few extra steps using another program." - Melissa Hanson, Home-based Non-profit Fighting Obesity
  • "New picture tools to remove background - nice" - David Salzberg, father

With the Remove Background button you can easily change a so-so picture into something dynamic. There are other tools in each program to change brightness, tone, color, even add artistic effects. These things you might do in another program, but now you can save time by doing them right in Office 2010. Here's a quick look at how to remove the background of your photo with a click.

  • "I like the advanced editing options for photo and videos. I have more fine-grained control over my deliverables." - Jessica McEwen, Student and Home User
  • "...it's super easy to load any type of file into the presentation. All video formats work very easily and seamlessly."- Sterling Morris, Student at Utah State

You can manipulate and frame photos/videos easily plus view your results as you mouse over the changes. Here's a how-to video on using video as the background of a PowerPoint 2010 slide:

  • Whoa, that's cool. I can't wait for the full version to come out - I mean, it's Powerpoint AND MovieMaker in 1!!!!!

  • Just getting started in photography, EditElf.com has give me a huge advantage over well established photographers.  I don’t have to buy expensive editing software, learn all the tricks, and waste time on my computer.  I started shooting weddings because I love photography and I love people, so that’s what I spend my time doing!
