People are continuing to lose jobs, and we're continuing to work on ways that we can help people find new jobs—even better jobs. At Office Online, we have plenty of templates for resumes—and in March we launched the partnership with Monster.com to help get those resumes in front of people who are hiring.

But we also realized that people don't necessarily come to Office Online when they're seeking employment, so we looked around a bit for more information on how people hunt for jobs. A bit of clicking led us to Norm Elrod's blog Jobless and less ("The blog for the employmentally challenged").

You might be asking, "And this will help how?"

Just as we've posted articles and videos about having a strategy when you search for a job, Norm has learned new strategies. And his story of repeat employment searches caught the attention of the Wall Street Journal, which invited him to guest blog about getting help after multiple layoffs.

In that post, Norm talks about giving back to your network. Sure, when you're suddenly out of work, you connect with everyone you know and put out feelers and ask for any leads they can send you. But what do you give them in return? Norm found that he could also send leads out. Read the post for the full story.
