Have you seen wild or superb examples of what people with an obsessive or inventive streak can do with Office programs and add-ins? Think, for example, of PowerPoint as performance art, as in David Byrne's strange wonders of some years back.

We're always looking for edge-cases of Office inventiveness, whether it be for art, business, games, PowerPoint presentations that look like something from another planet, Excel music videos (not kidding), Visio diagrams of the perfect go-cart, whatever. If it's cool, unexpected, decent, and legal, please use the comments field below to share its URL. As we gather suggestions, I'll roll them into a future post and article to help spread the attention.

Here, for instance, are two sources that are fairly addictive:

Top Ten Weird and Fun Uses for Excel (From board games to bingo.)

PowerPoint Heaven (Bullet points? Nope. A nearly photo-realistic portrait of Pirate Cap'n Jack Sparrow painted entirely in PowerPoint, or an assortment of anime murder mysteries? Yup. You can really lose whole afternoons in here.)

If you're looking for creative content that's more down-to-earth, check out the community-submitted templates on Office Online. You can even submit one yourself.

Meanwhile, thanks for passing along the URLs for any other favorites you can think of.
