SharePoint Training Coming at Ya

"I could post it on the server."

"Why don't you put it on the SharePoint site?"

"Oh, we have SharePoint now? How do I learn about that?"

"I'll just send you the link, it's pretty intuitive."

So this was my introduction to SharePoint in my last job, a little over a year ago. Now there is a lot of intuitiveness with the system, but good golly, I would have like to know about the training available at Office Online. Come to think about it, I would have liked to know about Office Online, period. You'll find many training and demonstrations about the myriad of aspects of the SharePoint world. Two newer trainings I want to spotlight: We have a new 90-minute series to build complex business solutions for SharePoint Designer (think of it as a 300-400 level class). Need the grand tour of SharePoint Server? Here's a dandy way: download a guide right to your desktop. --Doug

  • Thanks for posting something Doug. Now, could you just implant that Sharepoint training directly into my brain, please? :-)

  • I use SharePoint at work (obviously....who doesn't) But I would like to install and use it at home as well. My question is: Can I install SharePoint on my personal computer? or Would it be simpler to use the OfficeLive Workspace to gain access to my workplaces sharepoint server?

  • I attended Aivea's Architecture & Administration training in June. The class was amazing. Aivea's trainer was really great at making sure we covered all material that needed to be covered. They also took us to a great dinner in downtown Portland, which was an added bonus!
