Today's entry comes courtesy of Doug Thomas, a new addition to the Office Online editorial ranks. Welcome, Doug.
Howdy. When last I wrote for a blog it was about the dandy DVD set of The Larry Sanders Show and the passing of forgotten director Stuart Rosenberg. In other words, I had another job. So now, I’m the newbie of the Office Online crew and learning—along with many of you—what Office 2007 delivers. One of my favorites is you (and I) can now upload our own templates for everyone to use. When I look at the gallery my eye is drawn to templates that are varied, a bit different from what I have found in this space over the years. One tasty PowerPoint slide for spring is a shot from Washington State’s semi-famous Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Now this is just the tip of iceberg, but I can see where this is going. And for anyone who is allergic to simple and plain PowerPoint presentations like me, this is a place to watch. And, it makes me wonder when I can download my own sounds. --Doug
