Take our personality test

Fresh off the debut of our Enchanted Office comic strip comes the "Which 2007 Office Application Are You?" personality quiz. Answer 10 questions (What's your favorite type of movie? What was your favorite subject in school?) and get matched with the Office application that fits your personality best. It's our way of adding a little levity to the conversation around the debut of Office 2007 and ensuring you and the new Office hit it off.

Here's what it said about me:

You are Outlook 2007!
Connecting with people is the key to your happiness and success. Your outgoing, action-oriented personality is something everyone who knows you can count on. You have the information at your fingertips - whether it is a date or a keyword, you can always come up with it. You are the social chairperson among your friends, and people seek you out for the party details, the latest hot spot or celebrity gossip. Your color-coded to-do lists are legendary, and your calendars are masterpieces. You make it look so easy to manage multiple priorities; multi-tasking could be your middle name. With the new Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, it will be easy to manage and share all your vital information from one place. With your positive outlook, you will be thrilled to know that others can enjoy the same increased collaboration and functionality. Your favorite new feature in Office 2007 will no doubt be the RSS reader in Outlook 2007.

  • We enjoyed the quiz! It's amazing how well it matched all my office-mates' personalities. We are excited to try the new Office.

  • Funny :) I'm a wordie. Matched it! (I was a Word MVP in 2004 and 2005)

  • Some how I think I'll end up being SQL. Full of all kinds of information but only usefull to those that understand me.

  • Hey, I didn't match! I'm an InfoPath PM, but I got Word.. I guess spec writing does take quite a bit of time :-)

  • Hey I am Outlook 2007 too! But I wanted to be PowerPoint. Why am I not Powerpoint? Mmm? Can somebody pease explain to me why I was not given what I richly deserved, want and earned? Is this a conspiracy? Is it? It is. Someone here knew I was good for PowerPoint but changed the survey criteria to give me Outlook 2007. Heehee! Just having some fun. I am happy to be an Outlook personality because I do look out beyod the boundaries I am perceived to have been pidgeon-holed with.

  • Robert, you discovered our secret. We cookied your machine, traced your IP address, contacted your service provider, and snuck into your machine to alter your results. I blame the folks at Contoso!

  • Have a nice day

  • > Funny :) I'm a wordie. Me too! :)

  • C'mon you should have the test be over 10 questions. How can you give any really relevant (and thus more interesting) results to the user without more data? :)
