When we started on this journey we set five clear objectives: All your Office

re: Introducing the new Office on Windows Phone 8

I'm a WinMo user who's now thinking about a new phone, and I have to admit that I am pretty disappointed with Office for Windows Phone, especially taking into consideration that there is a fully funtional Office Version for Windows RT. Either Microsoft releases a Version of Office Mobile including at least the features available in WinMo, or Android with Office from Softmaker offers more functionalities and will be my choice.

It does not have a "Run" button etc. Please can any one advice.

The features available on numbers and their refinement for touchscreen mobile devices are so much better than your current version of excel. For instance, you can create popup menus, sliders, steppers, and check boxes in cells. You can move cells, columns or rows by touching, holding, drag and drop. You can format cells and fonts in more than 3 colors. You can open and edit just about any spreadsheet you throw at it, including some extensive ones that I have developed in excel on my pc. Yes, format porting can be an issue, but Apple keeps improving it.

With your new version of excel mobile, I can't edit most of my spreadsheets, even those I created in excel on my pc. Why bother? You guys have a lot of work to do just to catch up with Apple. If my Nokia wasn't such a well designed phone I'd be switching back in heartbeat.

That makes for very awkward navigation and handling of all but the very simplest of Word documents.

Is this something that will work in a future release?
