Will the OWA enable the categorization of business contacts and the easy syncing of my desktop outlook? I plan to buy a Surface tablet as well if this device works seemlessly to my Windows 8 laptop. Can you confirm this too?

This question is not so much about the new version of office or outlook, but rather a question of general functionality. Is there a way to create a mail merge based upon the last date of contact? An application would be, or instance, to send a message to stale or old contacts.

One thing I didn't find would be a theme or style option (it might be there -just haven't found it yet).

The style feature I would like to change is selected tab (for lack of a better term). The tabs are designated by changing the text from black to blue. They really all appear nearly monochrome. I'd prefer the active item had a highlight box around the text so I knew what was engaged.

I'm OK with it but I think it is missing 2 important features.

Right click on an email in your mailbox and hit reply - have to go to top right for that currently.

add the option for calendar and contacts in the bottom left hand of screen like in current outlook.

Are there plans to have an Android OS app? I really hope so, I love my Bionic and don't plan to change phones or carriers.

I'm excited about the new apps, but am not able to try them on my WinXP32 SP3 system.

I am using the outlook.com email in Mozilla and IE8, however. My current hardware won't support Win7 or Win8, and I don't see an upgrade there in the near future.

I am happy with my old system though and MSOffice Ultimate 2007 still meets my needs.

Are there plans to add POP3 access to outlook.com?

That would allow me to bring my email into Outlook 2007, and would really be a great benefit to users like myself.

so offline doesn't work in Metro/non-desktop/chromeless IE - is it possible to clarify the technical issues behind that?

for getting Office apps into Outlook; is that only from the Store with no mechanism to go to the Store directly from Outlook/OWA? I keep expecting it to be on the Insert menu like in Word/Excel...
