Put together your school's yearbook, or your own souvenir photo yearbook for your friends, using Hewlett Packard's cloud publishing site, MagCloud. Microsoft Publisher has partnered with HP MagCloud to give you on-demand publishing straight from the application. No upfront cost commitment. It's just 20 cents a page.

It is my hope that this new service saves you from Valerie's fate. When she was a kid she destroyed her 1st grade yearbook (see photo) and didn't have the MagCloud option of easily ordering a new copy.

To learn more about how it works, the Microsoft Publisher blog wrote a how-to post about creating, selling, printing, and delivering yearbooks using Publisher and MagCloud. Or, to get inspired, take a look at how Stanford University's Athletics Department used MagCloud to publish a photo yearbook for its women's basketball team.

What do you think? Will you ever use this service?
