Did you know that May is Teacher Appreciation Month? Well, the month’s not over yet. So consider this a gentle reminder to reconnect with those teachers who have inspired you over the years. Let them know how much you appreciate what they do for you.

Everyone has a story about “the one” teacher who opened the doors of knowledge and changed their life forever. Who was your inspiration? Share your teacher appreciation message on the Microsoft Partners in Learning Facebook page or on Twitter using #ThanksTeach.  Your teachers will appreciate it!

And if you’re out there reading this… Thank you, Professor Chilson! Your passion for writing led me down the path of technical writing and editing. I will forever remember the two main lessons you taught me:

  1. Know what you're talking about, or the person you're talking to won't listen.
  2. Make time for what inspires you. (Even if that means waking up at 4 a.m. every morning to squeeze in a couple of hours of writing before you start your day job.)

Thanks, teach!
