From professional services to aviation to healthcare: The Office 365 family is growing again.

Today, we're happy to welcome a mix of companies of all shapes and sizes to the Office 365 family: ALECITA, Eurowings, Multidata-Bluegarden Sygnity and WellPoint. While these new customers are diverse in many ways, their choice of Office 365 reveals a common commitment to saving time, money and brain power thanks to the cloud.  Read on for bit more about each of these trailblazers:

ALECTIA, a Danish consultancy firm, chose Office 365 to more quickly connect its people, saving both time and money. Peter Busck-Nielson, IT manager for the firm says: "We found the whole solution in Office 365...We can collaborate together, share files and hold online meetings without the need for extra travel." ALECTIA will save 6 million Danish kroner in train and plane travel over three years, and reclaim 10,000 hours in productivity.

Eurowings, one of Germany's largest regional airlines, chose Office 365 for secure and reliable communication as it flies 9,000 passengers a day safely to their destinations. "Office 365 connects with our regular Microsoft applications, like email and calendars," says Thomas Muth, the company's vice president of IT, "and we trust Microsoft to carefully handle our data."

With Office 365, Scandinavian payroll-solution provider Multidata-Bluegarden will save 60 percent compared to the cost of a server-based solution over the next three years.

"One of the most valuable parts of Office 365 for us has been SharePoint Online, because people can share documents and know they are looking at the most up-to-date version," says Torben Kofoed-Hansen, enterprise architect for Multidata-Bluegarden. "No other service has the same version-control and security features, and our team sites help us work on project documents more efficiently than ever before."

Sygnity, a Poland-based IT consulting firm, has up to a third of its employees travelling at any time across 16 European locations. Wojciech Zakorski, CIO for Sygnity, found Office 365 could save the company 60 percent in server and maintenance costs. Instant messaging and voice and video calls in Office 365 have also drastically cut employees travel expenses, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. "Office 365 also meets strict European Union data-privacy laws, which is an essential for us," says Zakorski.

WellPoint, one of the world's largest health benefit companies, just migrated 65,000 email boxes to Office 365.  Now, its 37,000 associates can spend their time replying to emails rather than cleaning out their mailboxes for more file space.  According to Senior Vice President and CIO Andrew J. Lang, "Anytime we can improve our internal communications processes, our customers' experience will be enhanced...When our associates can communicate in a collaborative, efficient manner, our customers receive prompt, efficient service."

We look forward to watching how these businesses use Office 365 and thrive in the cloud.  Want to find out how you can follow in their footsteps?  Visit the Office 365 trial page.
