I am currently using Office 2003. I am also writing a family history under Word 2003 that requires Auto Table of Contents, footnoes, name index and reference/bibliography with auto page numbering insertions. Word 2003 has these features but has the following draw backs: (1) this 200 - 400 page document must be brooken into segments, (2) images inserted in the document tend to float away from where they were inserted. Has the 2010 version of word fixed these problems? TIA JP

The options shown for positioning a jpeg image appear to be the same as what I use in Woed 2003, so what has change to prevent images from floating off the page into 'never find again land'? JP

it is great to see more layout options which will assist proposal, tender and bid managers in their roles, will be good to see more details. do you have a link to a post about custom style sheets for sales people to read tu use?

Stop making MS Word change languages every time I type out a long equation, or hit some mystery combination of control, alt, shift, control V. The text below all used to be in English, and now there's no apparent way to get it back into english

You must make such accidental language changes go away. This has happened to be numerous numerous times in Word. Please fix it!
