So our Word of the week is envelopes . Let's take a look:

re: Envelopes and return addresses (video)

Once you have your return address in the 2010 envelope layout, highlight the return address; right click on it; select font and you can set your font to bold.

My question concerns trying to put an 8 line delivery address on an envelope. I cannot get Word to print more than 7 lines. Therefore I always have the 8th line missing. Everything else works fine but just cannot get it to do this. Any ideas please? I'm using a 22.9cm x 16.9cm envelope by the way. Many thanks for any help you can give.

My printer (Dell 1100) receives a message to print something, then takes the envelope and it's blank. I did not have this problem with my old Microsoft Word. Not sure why I am with Office Home and Student 2010.

Thanks for that. However, cant get the header option to work as there is already a header in the letter and the banner just gets added to the pages of the letter. The first option works great but how do you get to save it so it automatically appears on all envelopes when I'm doing a run of addresses? Hopefully there is a way cos I don't fancy having to do go through the process when I'm doing a 30 letter+ run... Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Go to Mailings, then Create->Envelopes. After typing the appropriate information (return address, delivery address), click on Add to Document. Go to Insert->Picture in the Ribbon, and then Insert your logo in the upper left.

Additionally, a way to guarantee that you are placing it in the top left, it’s to go to Insert->Header. Once focus is on the header, click on Insert->Picture. After doing that, double click anywhere within the envelope or click on ‘’Close Header&Footer’’ in the ribbon to be done.
