Compress Pictures

I believe images pasted from the clipboard are stored in the document as bitmaps. I would be great if your Compress Pictures feature converted bitmaps to JPEGs. This would be as effective, if not more, than deleting cropped areas and reducing resolution.

Hey team, what happened to text to speech in Word 2007? It's a really cool feature...I ended up buying a program to do it because I couldn't get Narrator in Vista to read in Word, and Word no longer has the feature. I'm not using it for accessibility reasons, more a final proof, but I would imagine a lot of people were dependent on it. And if Narrator can't read Word files, well, then it seems Word should never have lost that feature. I know you guys are busy, but if you can help me out here, it would be greatly appreciated, as I told all my writing cronies about it, and now they're asking me how to access it in 2007 (:

This really is quite annoying. I used to say "Word is for words that's why it's called Word" when people attempted real graphic design in Word. However I do like 2007 :-)

Is something wrong in the way i see it? I can only see plain text in bold and large fonts !! no picture styles !!!
