When I use the "find" & "replace" feature the replace always shows in caps. For example find "ERC" and replace with "Evergreen", the EVERGREEN would always be in caps, this is in Word 2010.
qualitypaul, I tried to reproduce what you've described. I'm wondering if you might have special formatting applied to your replace text, "Evergreen." You'll know if you do if you see "All caps" next to "Format:" under the "Replace with:" field.
If so, this should fix it.
1. On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click Replace. The Find and Replace dialog box appears.
2. Click in the "Replace with:" field.
3. If you don't see the Format button, click More.
4. Click Format, and then select "Font" from the dropdown menu. The "Replace Font" dialog box appears.
5. Under "Effects," deselect "All caps."
Thanks so much for this video. It was a life saver on how to get rid of the blank pages in the Word program!
