Word has holiday newsletter templates that you can customize to present your own year's-end message in your own style.

For example, you can download a template, and then put in your own background picture.

You can change the fonts I applied a stylistic set to the signature, a new feature in Word 2010. To use the new Word 2010 features, click the File tab, and then click Convert.

You can even add some clip art or another picture (I removed the background from the puppy picture--another new feature in Word 2010).

Then get ready to write! It's easier when you already have some of the elements in place and the page doesn't look so snowy blank.

You can print out labels and mail your newsletter by post, or you can use email merge--saving paper and stamps. Here are some handy steps, no matter which option you choose.
