How do you pull it all together--create one document out of a lot of old files or notes, complete with a table of contents? After all these posts about page numbers and headers and footers in Word 2010, I want to wrap up by returning to a few Word 2007 videos, starting with how to create a manuscript by compiling multiple files and how to finish that manuscript with page numbers plus how to turn that manuscript into a booklet. And remember: If you want different page numbering formats in different sections of your document, separate them by inserting section breaks.

P.S. Creating a manuscript in Word 2010 can be even easier, because you can use the Navigation pane to organize your document's sections. I hope to have that video for you soon.

Hello Joannie,
How do I get to a site where I can find people who might be able to help me figure out why five of the keys on my keyboard do not display their usual values, or their shift key values, but the characters that are in red on the key itself....keys affected are the open and close hard bracket, the apostrophe, the backward slash and the forward slash. I have tried calling microsoft, and omni, etc and they canèt help. HELP!!!
Deb,
I can't be sure what's going on, but I did find some information online. This Microsoft support article has some information: support.microsoft.com/.../258826. And Bing returns links that look helpful, including links for some specific laptop models: www.bing.com/search.
I hope this helps!

These are wonderful videos. I have a question for you, though. I want to print out a longer document in booklet form and I would like to print it in signatures that can then be bound together as a hard cover book. Is there a way to break a large document into several booklets (signatures) with the page numbering continuing from booklet to booklet so that when the signatures are sewn together, the numbering is correct from start to finish?
Cheryl,
I admit that I don't have experience working with booklet signatures in Word. I'm thinking that you could divide the manuscript up into separate sections or even separate files and then print them in booklet format one at a time. But I might be oversimplifying it. Another good resource is Microsoft Answers: answers.microsoft.com/.../default.aspx.
Best wishes!
This is my first time here, so not sure if this is where I get my answer, I look for email to send questions to but could not find one. I would like to know how to go back and forth between two different fonts without having to click on the font arrow select the font, type one letter, then click on font box again, click precious font and continue typing - there's gotta be an easier way.

I'll recommend styles: office.microsoft.com/.../make-changes-to-a-quick-style-set-HA010201147.aspx. You still click one time, but that's all, and you don't have to scroll through a list.
Anyone have a different, shorter way to do this?
Cheryl (and anyone else working with signatures to build a booklet) --
I just found that there is already an easy way to do this in Word 2010. In the Page Setup dialog box, near where you select Book fold in the Multiple pages list, you can select a number of pages in the Sheets per booklet list.
