Back to school templates for students--and their parents

Empty seats on a school busIt's time for students to prepare for the school year--if they aren't at their desks already.

Office.com has templates for pupils and their parents--from school supply lists (if you're heading out shopping this weekend) and a handy notification of upcoming absence to a note thanking a teacher for helping your child.

Speaking of supplies, we have templates for graph paper--something my kids always tell me they need at 9:00 or 10:00 at night. (Bonus link: Take a look at graph paper templates with Doug and Ron.)

Plus, we offer many calendar templates, so you can find the size and style that will best help you track all of those school and after-school activities.

Finally, as my youngest starts her senior year of high school, I'm glad to find templates for college students and prospective college students, including a College search to-do list and a College comparison worksheet.

Let's get ready!

Anyone know if the list of sources are available as selectable text?It would really help speed up my research on this very topic if I didn’t have to re-type the link to each one! Just a thought…

  • Great templates! Thanks!

  • How do I save a template to the template gallery?  My save to gallery button is greyed out.

After you click Save As in the Backstage View (File tab), scroll up to the top, and click Templates under Microsoft Word. Then, when you want to use that template, click the File tab, click New, and then click My Templates.
