Hyperlinks aren’t just for web pages

Last month I posted a piece by Jeff Bell, the former Group Program Manager for Publisher and Text Services, talking about the reasons for taking out the new Web page creation functionality in Publisher 2010. You can find this article here: Where is web site authoring in Publisher 2010? But hyperlinks are still available and can be used for your e-mail publications.

Publisher installs almost 250 e-mail templates and there are nine Publisher e-mail templates available online at Office.com. These templates range from letters, to product lists, to coupons, to event publicity, to newsletters. My manager uses Publisher to create a monthly e-mail update on the Office Blogs that includes hyperlinks to specific blog posts, to the editorial calendar, to scorecards, and to other data.
