A few years ago, I attended an internal marketing seminar led by Cliff Atkinson. Some of you may know him as the "$253 million dollar man" for the jury verdict won using a presentation he prepared with exactly 253 slides.

It was during Cliff's presentation that I first learned the importance of moving presentations away from text-heavy slides and toward visual illustrations. If I recall correctly, it was only on the 22nd slide of Cliff's presentation that the first word of text appeared on a slide.

In the video introduction below, Cliff describes briefly the three key steps to creating a winning presentation and introduces us to his Beyond Bullet Points book and web site.

And if you're lucky enough to live in sunny Los Angeles (or looking for an excuse to visit LA), Cliff will be holding one-day public courses on November 11 and 12. To find out more, visit www.beyondbulletpoints.com.
