Mary, Have you tried saving as a different filename? It's possible that you've already saved once to pdf, and that file is open in the pdf reader - that would prevent you from overwriting the pdf. -Chris

I inserted a video into my Power Point 2003, and placed the video in the same folder as the presentation to link them together properly. However, when the video is played it turns white and the video does not seem to play. How do if fix this?
the video file I have embedded into my 2003 PPT presentation turns white when I play it. The video file has been placed into a folder along with the presentation prior to linking the video so I don't believe it's because I embedded the video incorrectly. I've tried cutting the video and re-inserting it multiple times, and the video still turns white. How can I fix this?
@Denise To keep text from resizing automatically, turn off the auto fit feature by right-cliking a textbox, clicking format shape, and going to the text box tab where you will find a checkbox for auto fit. Also, Try using the slide master to set the sizes of bullets at different levels (go to the View tab and click "Slide Master"). @Jose Try using Presenter View - it's on the Slide Show tab under the "Monitors" section. Click the checkbox and when you are plugged into an external monitor your screen will show the presentation + notes while the projector shows just the slides. @Mykaila Microsoft works doesn't have PowerPoint. We reccomend using the PowerPoint Web App (go to www.skydrive.com) where you can do basic editing and viewing, or using Office 2010 (go to www.office.com). @San Click the "File" button and you'll see the document information on the right half of the screen. @Ben What kind of video file are you using? Does it play in windows media player?

Hi! I am using Powerpoint 2010. I have a presentation with say 10 slides. Each slide has 1 - 4 audio files and points being addressed by each of those audio files. While working the design and setup of the pages to add the audio and transitions I am having to constantly see and hear all the audio files and wait for the fades or fly-ins until I reach my next area or point that I need to see. So I am constantly having to see and hear the same information over and over. It's REALLY beginning to annoy. My question is... Is there a way to go to a particular point within the slide and start the audio/fades from that point rather than hearing everything over and over?
Thank you!
Since installing an update for powerpoint in Office 2010 on a xp system I am having problems transferring files via the internet such as direct deposit files to my bank. Once I transfer I get an error message as if I have lost connection. It asks if I would like to attempt to diagnose the problem, etc. however, I have really not lost connection and the transfer goes through but you would never know it without contacting the bank etc. Has anyone else had these issues???
