I would like to have the choice...I never use 5 minutes. i wuse 1, 2 & 3 hours a lot

I am sending another employee an invite for a meeting and when she receives the invite is is automatically changing to 1 hour prior to my initial meeting request. We checked the time zones and all is fine and tested with other employees, she is the only one having this problem...any ideas/suggestions.

Hey, hey! Snooze option "5 minutes before start" is back! My company just switched us over to Office 2010 (from 2003). Not too much bother getting used to the ribbon, but I sure missed that particular snooze option. Thanks for pointing out that I could get it back with SP1.

What ever was changed, now it doesn't work. I can't "save" my selection. By default it wants to come up with "5 minutes" instead of "5 minutes before start." If I change it to "5 minutes before start" that only works the first time. the next popup switches to "0 hours before start." No matter what i do here - dismiss, change to "5 mins" or just ignore the popup, the next meeting request no longer has my previous selection of "5 minutes before start." Worse, if I just ignore the popup, I don't get a new popup at meeting time, instead I may get a popup 2, 3, or even ten minutes after meeting time.

Would be nice if I could set my "meeting delay" in the options and have that be default for every new meeting popup.

Will Outlook Task ever be properly integrated with Live/Skydrive and OneNote 2010? Currently i can not sync tasks at all with Skydrive. OneNote has limited support for tasks, but you can not access many of the features you have in outlook task from OneNote. Additionally, if i create an outlook task in OneNote 2010, it will create a task in out look, but it is just a link to the one in OneNote. Additionally it won't even create the tasks if you use a "no date" task, which i tend to do for my open ended ToDo lists.

I would much prefer to continue using outlook for my organizing, but it seems microsoft is herding us to OneNote...which to be honest, i don't like at all.

I am new to blog page and have a question on a different subject. In Outlook Task, is there a feature to identify the user who wrote in the notes section. I want to assign taks to my team and have them send me updates on their progress. We are using sharepoint to share the tasks between the different project members. In Word, you can track changes. In email, you can add comments to an email and it can show your name. I have checked all of the options and can not find this feature.

Outlook 2007 suggestion: Does anyone else have the need to send meeting requests with optional times? It takes me 2-3 emails back and forth to get a meeting scheduled. If they cancel, then its all over again. My suggestion is that you give 1-2 alternatives with blocked out times that you assign an expiration time and not able to book.

What is everyone thoughts?I sent a message to one of the VP's over development of Outlook but I'm not certain if that will get to the correct person. What is the normal procedure for making a suggestion to Mircosoft?

I'm using SP1 and the default is 5 minutes before start. BUT if I snooze using a different value and it comes up again while I'm still in that Outlook session (meaning I haven't quit Outlook and restarted), then it remembers what I used the last time I snoozed that item and offers that as the default. It WOULD be nice if I could change the default setting from "5 minutes before start" to something else, though.

Bummer... I preferred it remembering the last setting... If you're always into the 5 minute reminder, then that becomes your 'last' setting anyway... Perhaps this is best changed to be a customizable setting... My actual preference would be to remind me again halfway between now and the appointment time... -Scott.
