I am in a work group with 4 people using a shared calendar (through Google as a server) -- all of my appointments that I RECEIVE are 30 minutes off (early); however all the appointments that I schedule myself are at the appropriate time and are at the correct time on the other users outlook. I have Microsoft Outlook 2010 and the rest of the users have Microsoft Outlook 2007 I believe. Any ideas?

I have been begging for years (well, ever since it came out) that there be a way to Make Outlook open in Calender view. I rarely use it for email. Mostly FOR the calendar, in fact that's why I bought it in the first place. Only to find that my $30 daytimer program that didn't make the Vista transition really did what I wanted better. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE now that I've spent the money to buy it, and learned all it's extremely complicated little ways, could you consider letting me use it as a CALENDAR. It is truly annoying to me to have it open only in the view that I am not the least interested in. Begging on bended knee, yet again, and would be eternally grateful. Kiss, kiss, kiss :-)

I tried this update (KB2412171.) to fix a problem in Outlook 2007. I have an issue that when I create an email, then go into the outbox to add something or edit the mail, the mail drops into an undated status and will not send after I add the information and press send again. This has also happened without going into outbox, but it is much more rare. This update did not fix the problem. It is getting really irritating to have to recreate emails. T?his approach to support stinks, too. It is too time consuming and too much to have to remember to check back to see if it has been commented on. MS is more than frustrating.

As Janegilring and others said both updates are experiencing the same issue with the autodiscovery when setting up Outlook Profiles. Do you have an update on this issue?

Today it gets worse. Yesterday, after my recently purchased Office 2010 deleted my license for Outlook 2007, which I specifically told the install utility that I intended to keep, I find that the DVD folder for my Outlook 2007 is damaged and I am not able to read the key and reinstall Outlook 2007. So, now I have a trial copy of Outlook 2010, which I do not want, that will soon expire.

Just installed Office 2010. I have been using Outlook 2007 for a while and specifically didn't want to upgrade to Outlook 2010. On the installation I chose the selection to leave Outlook 2007 as is. Now as the installation is complete, I find that Outlook 2007 is gone and I have a trial version of Outlook 2010 that is good for a few months. Now, do I need to reinstall Outlook 2007? I thank you so much for wasting my time. This is the kind of action that gives me such a warm feeling in my heart whenever I hear the name Microsoft. Your marketing people may think that this is a key to increase revenues. What you've done is totally annoyed a customer.

I have tried to apply the update but still having same issue, outlook always swtich to HTTP mode, which resulting my EV plug-in not working and also same issue happen after remove the KB2412171, where email stuck in outlook 2007 and not sending out automatically.

Please advise a solution.

The problems persists. As a couple others have stated, even after applying the new patch I continue to have problems sending email from any POP email accounts. Receive works fine but I continually get a message that Outlook cannot connect to the SMTP server. This has gone on for a couple weeks now. Any help or insight would be much appreciated!

have removed old kb2412171 and installed NEW kb2412171, the problem persists.

have removed all kb2412171, the problem persists

have totally un-installed outlook 2007 and reinstalled the original version, but the same problems occured!

the kb2412171 keeps uploading automatically and the problems come back

HOW CAN I GET RID OF THAT ANNOYING PROBLEM?
