Removing items from the To-Do Bar

I would love to be able to hide RECURRING appointments from to do bar. I need to have them on my calendar so others can schedule time accurately, however I really do not need to see recurring appointments. Is there any way to do this?

I also love the To-Do bar feature. However, could we get a field on the To-Do Bar so you can just place a check mark in a box to mark a task complete. Would make life much simplier!

The To Do Bar is by far my favorite feature in Outlook 2007. That said, I'd like to take a moment to offer a suggestion for the Outlook To Do Bar (for Service Pack 2, perhaps?). It's already possible to create tasks quickly using the To Do bar, but why not calendar appointments? My thoughts: 1. Have the option to RIGHT CLICK on the calendar day and have a selection of New Appointment. 2. Have a Task List-esque entry field that automatically prompts for Date/Time when you press Enter (along with an "Advanced Options" that opens the full appointment window). 3. Be able to Double-Click a blank space on the "Upcoming Appointments" list to open the "New Appointment" window. Any/All of these solutions would be great improvements over a feature that is already fantastic! :)

I could ramble off my love of the to do bar all day long, but would have to make one tiny complaint... once it is marked complete, I can never find it again. At work I have a ton of tasks, some of them build up for a very long time, and on more than one occasion, I have marked one complete by accident (clicking twice, for instance, would mark one item, and the one below it complete) many times. Pretty-please, can we get a "completed tasks" list in the calendar view during SP2? Just one users 2 cents.
