We just got our 64 bit versions of Office Pro Plus 2010, and their still appears to be no 64 bit connector. What gives? Isnt this supposed to be available on release? Why would i go 64 bit, and then limit my tools? Sigh. As always, 1 step up, 2 steps back.

Since I had to use outlook connector my outlook fails to work most times.

I really like the new People pane in Outlook 2010. Not for the "Social" features, but for finding related emails and attachments. But.. I does not work. It is totally broken. On some people does not show any mail, and only some mails in others. I've tried re-indexing and recreating the profile, not to avail. Do you know some trick to make it work? Using 32bits Outlook, without Exchange.

There doesn't seem to be a way to actually extend the social connector - regardless of the posts on MSDN. There is no outlook social provider extensibility dll anywhere on a system with outlook 2010 x64 installed that I can find - COM or otherwise. And you still can't install the linked in provider because it requires that you download the OSC 1.0 february beta which shouldn't be in beta anymore - or else there is a serious lack of updating going on. What's happening here? This is frustrating.

Microsoft is advertising Office 2010 as a way to go for 64 bit environments. However, you have made 64bit versions of Office applications only second class citizens in every aspect. No support for Social Connector, no working Office Communicator integration etc. It's not so difficult to make a 64bit build of the components. Just release them.

The Hotmail Connector for Outlook 2010 is buggy buggy buggy. Outlook 2010 RTM crashed TEN times on my in the first 6 hours of usage. I remove the Hotmail accounts and it has been stable since. It has been stable for me in Outlook 2007, but when I upgraded to 2010 - crash city.

MySpace has a Connector, but Windows Live doesn't... Am I the only person that doen't see anything hillarious about that. Seems like Microsoft is always lagging in supporting their own stuff, and I'm tired of Windows Live remaining a fragmented Piece of Crap experiment where Microsoft Competes with Google for the most amount of services added to your Windows Live account requiring you to log into yet another sub-site. Office Live Workspace, Windows Live Photos, and Windows Live SkyDrive need to be integrated together and offered as one service with more functionality. Need a Social Connector for Outlook. Integrate "Skydrive" or "Live Workspaces" with Outlook and Windows Live Mail. Better Calendar, Contacts, and Task synchronization for Windows Live (as in, let me pull them into my Personal Address Book/Calendar and keep the two in Sync). End Result is a Great End-to-End experience for both home users (Windows Live Hotmail - Windows Live Mobile - Outlook) and business users (Outlook Web Access - ActiveSync - Outlook). And please lower the time it takes to delete a Windows Live Account back down to 60 days. Almost a year... Are you kidding me? Google and Yahoo allow you to delete accounts on the spot. I see no reason for this rubbish. About to take my Windows Phone back and get an iPhone. Windows Mobile 7 looks to be incompatible (there are already hardly any apps worth looking at in Marketplace, think of what it's going to be like when no one is developing for the phone I've had so far < 1 month... I'm giving up on Windows Mobile), can't get the Microsoft Development tools to install properly on top of my Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition (those SDKs are a catastrophe when it comes to install exprience, BTW). All this just rubs me the wrong way. And Office 2010 still doesn't seem like it's going to give me a reason to upgrade from Office 2003. Maybe in 2015, or when they do what they have to do to make it not run properly on some future version of Windows (not upgrading from Vista to 7 for a new Taskbar, sorry).

I am with Greehalgh, I don't get the delay in the 64-bit OSC as a vast number of machines are shipping with 64-bit. I hope it is not problem prone when we have to actually pay for it.
