I have been able to with policy keep them from actually being able to apply a stationary template, but i cant find a way to grey out the theme button that appears under signatures and stationary. It says no theme currently selected and the font is greyed out but the theme button is still accessible and will let them pick. So now they just think outlook is broken. If i could grey out the theme button it would help alot. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Outlook is HORRIBLE! 1) "The To-Do Bar and Navigation Pane have been darkened in Outlook 2010" ... MAKING IT ***FAR MORE DIFFICULT TO READ*** the items in the Navigation Pane itself. Thank you, Microsoft, for making such a readable program into a hideous abortion of difficult-to-read low-contrast garbage. If there is no way to get back to a white background with black letters, I will ***NEVER SELL OR RECOMMEND*** this abortion of Outlook. 2) Another ***HIDEOUS*** "feature" is the inability to see the Folder List as it was in Outlook 2007. I constantly bounce between email, Calendar, and Contacts, and you just made maneuvering 100 times harder. In Outlook 2007, those three items were within 1.5" of each other when in Folder List view. Now I either have to scroll down through over 100 Inbox subfolders and sub-subfolders that I have to organize my clients and vendors, and then FINALLY see the nice big names on which to click, or I have to mouse down to find and click a stinking microscopic icon at the bottom of the Navigation Pane to change the view. PLEASE bring back the old functionality. These changes to Outlook are a 100% deal-breaker for **ever** telling a client to move to Office 2010. I am glad I only loaded Office 2010 onto my laptop and not my desktop that I use all day. 3) Copied from "Robert" on 01-21-2010 on another blog because I feel exactly the same way: "Please, please, PLEASE - allow users to reorder the folders in the navigation pane. For the past several years my folders have been in a particular order that works best for my work environment. With your new reordering "feature" several of my most important folders (for me, it's Contacts, Calendar) are now pushed off the bottom of my screen, so unless I buy a monitor with vertical orientation I don't want to use Outlook 2010. All I want is to be able to move a couple of folders higher or lower in the tree – that should be simple to do and yet Outlook prevents it. Also - your coloring themes for Outlook 2010 now cause the background color for the navigation pane to appear as though it's greyed-out, which is highly annoying." I couldn't have said it better myself! 4) If I understand correctly, each mail account now has its own Inbox. Is that mandatory? I'd like to POP my infrequently-checked ISP account into my Exchange account and see it all under one roof, or in a subfolder of my Inbox. From what I am reading, that is no longer possible, correct? This version is a definite NO! Gregg

It worked fast and fine in 2007. Please help to speed it up. This is leading to "not responding" messages, forced shutdown of Outlook 2010. This is very annoying. Windows Live account seems to be working fine. This is not good strategy for product promotion, if that is what it is.
