I tried linked, facebook, and windows live connectors today and it works great. All of updates in Outlook, you don't have to browse again just to be connected, one Outlook to rule them all

Sorry but eh Social Connector ended being almost worthless ... none of my contacts had their email address publicly available. I added my work address to fb and publicied and then i was able to see my own updates...

This would be somewhat useful if we could link our contacts to their social ID's using a SOCIAL ID field in the contact card or something like that...

I´m trying to use Microsoft Outlook Social Connector Provider for Windows Live Messenger, but it allway show this error message: "invalid username or password"

My password and user name are correct.

I´m using Outlook 2010 SP1 32bits, Microsoft Outlook Social Connector Provider for Windows Live Messenger 14.0.5120.5000, Office Outlook Connector 14.0.6106.5001, Windows Live Essentials 2011 15.4.3538.0513, Update for Social Connector KB2583935 and Hotmail Account.

64-bit LinkedIn connector:

download.linkedin.com/.../LinkedInOutlookConnector_x64.exe

It's very stupid that the link is not included here, as it's not clearly stated with the connector available here that it works only in x86 version. Finding the x64 connector was not easy either.

I also am having the same issue as Donny. Out of the hundreds of my Facebook friends, only a few of my co-workers are using their work email addresses with Facebook. It would be great if the Social Connector could scan my friend list for matching names rather than matching email addresses. Will this ever be possible?

I am running Windows 7 with Outlook 2010. I installed the Social Connector (32 bits) and it installed, but when I click the green plus sign next to one of my contacts and try to log into my Facebook or LinkedIn account. I get the error message "Could not connect to server." How can I get this function to work?

I'm getting an error while setting up the "OSCFB-x86-en-us" Facebook Connector. Prompts to download and install the latest version of connector and stops then saying "The installation of the provider couldn't be completed." and the same turns if we deny the updates. Any help!

I have outlook 2010. I am *tired* of finding the OSC for 2010 or actually finding a straighforward answer to the question - "Do we have an up and running verion of the OSC for Outlook 2010?" Yes/No? If yes, where?
