  • When are going to get a 64 bit version of OSC (Outlook Social Connecter)?

  • When are we going to get the rest of the OSCs?

  • Who designs this stuff? And why don't they want to listen to customers? Working in large corporates, I struggle with these Office products - to create one e-mail i use Excel to create the charts, Powerpoint to edit the graphics, Word to create the layout and the cut 'n' paste the whole lot into Outlook as none of the programs can do the job on their own. But even worse, we have thousands of users overwhelmed with e-mails and no help from the Outlook program. We cannot effectively manage distribution lists due to the extreme limitations in Outlook/Exchange and we need so many more tools that are just unavailable. I know these guys have no competition, but it won't be long before Google or someone comes up with a better solution.

  • Mr. Affronti - Several times it has been stated that the 64 bit version of the Outlook Social Connector would be available when Outlook 2010 ships. Just wondering if there is a date when OSC-64bit and the LinkedIn, MySpace, Facebook, and Live connectors will be available in 64 bit versions. Thanks! Lil 'bit 64

  • I have been trying to Sync my blackberry 8350i DM 5.0 with Outlook 2010, and keep getting a Outlook Connector Error, "No Available Message Stores" Anything I can do?

  • I love Outlook 2010 except for one strange quirk...when my inbox is empty, the body of the last email still shows as if the email was still in the inbox. It's like it doesn't refresh or something. It's very annoying! Please patch this.

  • Why does SearchIndexer take up 100% of processing power with Outlook 2010? This only started happening with 2010.

  • I used it for a month then I had to go back to 2007, I want to use 2010, but the colors are ugly and depressive, 2007 is shiny :-)

  • Just installed office 2010 and i am experiencing a big performance drop from 2007 in outlook. Any thing I can do? I am on windows 7 and outlook 2007 was running great but now 2010 is very sluggish starting to feel like vista again.

  • while i'm doing my first steps in outlook 2010 i realized that i can copy a contact or a note with the context menu entry, but there is no entry in the context menu to paste it in a other folder (ctrl+v works)... a patch would be great ;-) I like the new look and feel of outlook 2010 :-) Greetings from Germany

  • Hi everyone, i'm an early adopter of the office2010 suite and i'm quite happy with it.

    i've only one big question.

how can i mark as read all my calendar apointments that i have in a "public folder calendar".

i have the same issue with a "private" calendar and in the contacts, too. in all the old versions there was a "mark all as read" on all the possible folders. in the 2010version this feature is avalable only with mail folders. thanks for your suggesting.

  • I have been a huge supporter of the new office platform, and honestly love the new Office 2010. I couldn't be happier with the overall functionality. HOWEVER, that being said. What is taking so long for the social connector? I'm not talking about the 64 bit version, 99.999% of all people DON'T NEED IT, they just want it because they THINK they need it. I'm talking about the 32 bit versions. The LinkedIn connector works great, I don't use the My Space connector... do people still use My Space? ;) Why not windows Live? Microsoft - Microsoft... Or Facebook? The biggest Social networking platform on the planet? Xobni's got it... may have to switch back.

  • 1) Why does an email have to be opened before one has the option to resend it? This seems to be an unnecessary step.

    2) Having opened an email to resend it, could we have the option to automatically close the original email? By definition, it wouldn't normally be required to remain open.

    3) Instead of resending an email sent by me, it is very easy to reply to it by mistake - or at least I seem to find it very easy to do this. Could we have the option to confirm that we wish to reply to an email that we sent which would not normally make sense.

  • If I look at an Outlook 2010 calendar in monthly view and use the arrow keys on my keyboard to change which day is selected then Outlook doesn't proper color a day back to its original color when transitioning between days in different months (e.g., one month shaded white, another blue, and between transitioning between June and July the day being un-highlighted picks up the other month's color. Doesn't speak well for MSFT's QA, but there's a reason many refer to Outlook as LookOut.

  • Will someone please explain why the assignment of macros to keyboard keys has been left out of 2007 and NOW 2010. Macros are the most fundamental method to increase ones productivity in repeative tasks, yet Microsoft continues to deny us quick and effecient access to them. I would really like a answer to this question.
