Please make sure to restart Outlook once the latest version of the Outlook Connector is installed to ensure the add-in is correctly installed.

I have tried OutlookConnector in the past and it has never worked for me. I downloaded the latest update and still I can not receive any emails. Basically my Status shows as: Outlook Connector Version 12.0.6423.1000 Account: xxxx@hotmail.com Signed in successfully at 4/16/2009 9:55:51 PM Mail: Calendar: Contacts: The Server Status pulldown menu shows: Mail Storage 130MB of 500GB Mail: Connecting Calendar: Connecting Contacts: Connecting I have free hotmail account and am not looking to sync calendar or contacts. I am using MS Outlook 2003 SP3 on XP Professional - latest service packs and all. I can uninstall Outlook Connector and go back to using old method and I can get emails.
Well it turns out that the problem is due to PGP Desktop on my machine and in particular PGP MAPI dll being registered. The workaround is to stop PGP services before starting Outlook. You can start PGP services afterwards. The thread below mentions a permanent fix (editing the registry), but it did not work for my version of PGP Desktop (9.5.3 - build 5003). It seems like latest version of PGP Desktop does not use the registry entry HKLM\SOFTWARE\PGP Corporation\PGP\PGP_INSTALL_MAPI to determine if it should register the MAPI DLL. forum.pgp.com/.../message
Hi Thanks for the connector but while it works manually to send hotmail email to the main inbox, the rule doesn't work on send/receive - this has never worked as far as i can read - is there a fix to allow users to click send/receive & have the rule send hotmail email to the main inbox?
Hi - this is underbob1@hotmail.com from above but my new email address is BobLooks@gmail.com - turns out gmail gives you free pop access & no messing with a new program like connector, no seperate inboxes - so never mind all the requests for a combined inbox in outlook - now we have google who cares about consumers needs in microsoft products
I can't get my hotmail account and Microsoft office to sync anymore with my contacts and calendars and so forth...what could be the problem? Greg
