I also use custom keyboard shortcut keys to apply Color Categories to messages because my organizational system requires every message to be categorized based on the action I need to take.
I use CTRL+F12 throughout the day to archive conversations by marking them green.

Alt-S is a safer shortcut for sending...I've seen a lot of accidental ctrl-enters :)
Help! Is there a way I can get info on why my Outlook 2007 wants to change a single meeting into a recurring meeting automatically when I open a previously created Outlook meeting? Is there an Outlook setting someplace that I'm missing?
If you are using a Dell computer, check in your Add/Remove programs for an add-in from Cyberlink "outlookaddinsetup" and uninstall it.
Regarding CTRL+Enter to send: one of the most welcome additions to OL2k7 in my book is the ability to turn that one off - it's far too easy to send an unfinished email with it turned on (especially if you're putting in a line feed).
The removal of the ability to assign custom keyboard shortcuts to standard menu options in Outlook 2007 is exceptionally irritating. I strongly dislike the screwball ribbon, that possibly makes it easier for my mother to use outlook (who doesn't btw) while pissing off the rest of the world that have been using standard office menu systems for the past decade or more. At least I can turn the ribbon off and use the standard options I'm used to... oh, wait, I can't actually do that... *grumble, grumble*
Q: I'd REALLY LIKE to have my Office 2007 behave like Office 2003 (or even an earlier by-gone age when keyboard shortcuts could use Named Style in Word and so on). Has anyone developed a package of keyboard shortcuts for Office 2007 that make it behave like Office 2003 in terms of providing those neat keyboard shortcuts? I have to use both Office 2003 on corporate machine and Office 2007 on my own personal one and the differences are hurting my writing efficiency greatly. I regard the Office 2007 "innovations" as a huge step backward without the shortcuts that provide me with touch-typing speed of navigation throughout. bruce@hogman.us direct responses in private if desired.

Is there really no way to customize keyboard shortcuts? That's really disturbing especially since actions which are performed every 15 minutes or less (like "Mark All Read") don't seem to have any easy to use shortcut.
