Do not use the Create Hyperlink dialog. This will paste it properly and clicking on the link will open it inside OneNote application.

Hit the "ALT" key to bring up the standard menu. Click Tools and then view and then toolbars. Then make sure "Command" is checked. Now that the command bar is active you can drag it where you want it. I imagine there are other ways but that's how I did it. There is an add-in for Firefox but I've not seen one for Chrome.

It seems to work just fine, but I have one problem:

I right-click somewhere in OneNote and selects "Copy Link to Paragraph" and inserts this somewhere else to a link. Now when i clicks this link, it starts up the OneNote Web App instead of just open the link inside the OneNote PC application as I'm used to, and expect it to do.

I have tried to find a setting in OneNote to avoid this without any luck.... What can I do???
