How can increase the file size that skydrive allows for syncing onenote pages? My notebooks are not synking b/c it is telling me that the file size exceeds the 100 MB.

Hello Srinivasan,

I work in IT and I use Onenote almost everyday of my professional life. The issue i'm facing currently is that the search doesn't work at all.Even though I'm on a notebook where i can read a page with the info. i need the search doesn't point to it. I have installed the below 4 updates for my Onenote 2010. Issue still persists. Please advise..Thank you in advance!!

Is it possible to alphabetically sort "Sections" on the left hand navigation panel other than by using the mouse to move one section relative to another? I have a list of people (by last name) which grows daily and would like find a way to have OneNote sort those, if possible. LVB

I just tried simply cutting and pasting the documents from Skydrive to my PC OneNote app, but only the 2 of the three titles appear although I cut and paste all three titles and the body of the document. Another wasted day screwing around with OneNote, back to Evernote I go.

Michael, once you copy the link to a paragraph or a page, go to where you want to create the link and just paste (Ctrl+V). Do not use the Create Hyperlink dialog. This will paste it properly and clicking on the link will open it inside OneNote application.

IE 9 hides the tool you are looking for. Hit the "ALT" key to bring up the standard menu. Click Tools and then view and then toolbars. Then make sure "Command" is checked. Now that the command bar is active you can drag it where you want it. I imagine there are other ways but that's how I did it. There is an add-in for Firefox but I've not seen one for Chrome.

I used to be able to click the onenote icon and the website page i was viewing would automatically be sent to onenote (with event the choice as to where in onenote). Now it is gone. does anyone know how i can get that icon back?

I have moved my OneNote books to the cloud (SkyDrive). It seems to work just fine, but I have one problem:

I right-click somewhere in OneNote and selects "Copy Link to Paragraph" and inserts this somewhere else to a link. Now when i clicks this link, it starts up the OneNote Web App instead of just open the link inside the OneNote PC application as I'm used to, and expect it to do.

I have tried to find a setting in OneNote to avoid this without any luck.... What can I do???
