Have written to iTunes but still NO UK release a few communications but no real action done :( so disappointing and annoying too.

I have been an avid OneNote user ever since the beta version of OneNote 2003 was released and keep all my life organised in OneNote! What a wonderful program! The OneNote Mobile app looks great, but without support for tables, it's simply not useful since I use tables heavily (one of the many great features of OneNote). I will therefore have to keep using MobileNoter to sync with my Iphone until you manage to solve the table feature. I'm really looking forward to it!

I absolutely love OneNote, it's my new favorite app. I was thrilled to see an iOS app version, but like many others I would really love to see an iPad specific version, or at least a higher resolution as the text is fuzzy on the iPad. My only minor complaint is that I can't see tables. I use tables a lot in my notes.

I agree with several others. Android is important.

And skydrive is a great solution for consumers. But enterprise users have exhcnage. it would be great to use exchange and active sync as the synchronization route for enterprise companies who have a secured exchange server.

This is for Stefan Britton if he's listening - you can have OneNote App now by creating a USA account in iTunes. Go to iTunes Store and check out. Scroll to foot of page to Union Jack icon and click to bring up all country flags. Select USA and open an account. You need another email address (I think) and a verifiable USA address. I used a friend's but really all you need is the Zip Code. Once the A/C is active download the App and sync it to your phone. Sorry I'm not too techie, but I did this without help, and if I can......! Good luck - it is great App - however, to sync with Windows Live & Sky Drive it will only work with OneNote 2010. And I can't get it to open tables on my iPhone? Maybe someone else has the solution.

@Stefan Britton: The current version is available only in the U.S. App Store. We will definitely announce international availability if there's news on that front. Thanks very much for you interest!

@Henry M Bernstein: SkyDrive is indeed the connecting link between the OneNote client and OneNote Mobile at present. I understand that you may not want to upload and manage all of your notebooks there. One easy workaround would be to keep a "Mobile" notebook that you could use as an exchange point where you move pages in and out after they get synced. That way, you always have important notes with you in your mobile notebook, and you can copy notes you take on the go and copy or move those pages into the real notebook(s) where you prefer to keep them. For a more comprehensive solution, see Andrew Smith's suggestion below your post. Friends of mine also swear by Dropbox and its excellent integration with OneNote and their mobile phone.

@bobbsy37: OneNote Mobile is currently available for Windows Phone 7 and for iPhone. On other phones such as yours, you have the option of using a SkyDrive-based shared notebook in your phone's Web browser.

I think Windows Live Mesh, explore.live.com/windows-live-mesh, is the answer because it syncs desktop folders to skydrive ... there is a lot of discussion on the onenote mobile forum (see link in article). A bigger issue for you may be that the Onenote Mobile app doesn't support all the features found on the desktop app yet eg tables. (see OneNote FAQ on the forum).

@Stefan Britton welcome to the club. Lots of people clamouring for onenote in their country. Not sure when but in one sense as there are still issues perhaps not a bad thing?? That said I would love it in Australia now myself :)

Am I correct that the only way to gain full functionality with OneNote Mobile for iPhone is to move to using the web application? As I understand it, to use OneNote with the files on my desktop would mean that I have to upload all my OneNote files (221 separate files currently) to SkyDrive. And since SkyDrive doesn't sync yet to desktops, I won't be able to update in OneNote from more than one source (iPhone or desktop) without losing data. Unless I'm missing something, I think I'll uninstall the app and go back to the third party app which already has this functionality. Hopefully, I am missing someone and you can set me on the correct path.
